A well thought out Mill Creek Community center is important for BHW

There is an article in this week's Sandpaper about the progress of the Mill Creek Community Center rebuild. All we know is that the community center is something that many of our year round neighbors came to depend on. We hope that progress can continue and something that fills the needs of the community does get built.

Did you know Alec Baldwin donated $250K to rebuild the Mill Creek Community Center?

While reading through Reddit I saw that Alec Baldwin did an AMA to promote his Here'sThe Thing podcast. Reading through the comments it struck me that very few people know about his donation to help rebuild something in our little corner. We know many neighbors who relied on the community center as a gathering place and a place to take exercise and self-defense classes. Anything that helps get that center back ASAP is awesome in our book. So if we could have gotten in on that AMA we just would have said "Thank You" to Mr Baldwin.
